Default Trisetella gemmata

Well, I can honestly say that I got my first orchid in my terrarium of mini's to bloom! I never thought I would see a few of them do anything until the terrarium was finished and now they are growing like weeds.

Here's the first bloom that I can take credit for, my Trisetella gemmata.




While taking these pictures with my iphone (sorry for how blurred they are, I don't have a good camera), I noticed that another orchid had a bloom on it that went unseen! Yippee!!! It's the Maxillaria uncata 'Leneas Rojis'. Unfortunately, the bloom is in a bad position for taking pictures and it is permanently fixed to my "tree" structure which cannot come out.

I'm SO excited to see that the months I spent learning and asking questions about terrarium building seem to have finally paid off!
