As you can see, I don't have ventilation (other than a little desk fan pointed at it - temp control). It's too small imo. Ventilating such a small humid environment would only dry it out quicker than I can keep on top of it. Sometimes I leave the door open after waterings to allow for air exchange...

Thinking about your comment about ventilation again, I'm not sure what to do. I think you're underestimating the size of this thing. For some perspective and, yes, I did the math lol, this thing's about 11.44 times smaller than your small vivarium from 2008. And in fact, my miniaturized false bottom and substrate takes up 3 inches of hieght, so my actual planting area is 3 x 3 x 3 inches... so, 22.9 times smaller lol - thats just a tiny corner of your mini viv.

You got any ventilation ideas for a smaller than palm-sized area?

Sorry for no recent photos... camera's been acting up lately.

I've recently added lepanthes telipogoniflora to the viv - it didn't ship well; lost all but 1 leaf by the time it got to me... but I will try to save it - roots are green and healthy, so we'll see.

The HC has filled in and is filling in again, over itself, and after that it will probably fill the entire wee vivarium. In a humid environment, this stuff is unstoppable... expecially as foreground for a 3" x 3" area lol.
