lol! THanks for the comments Phel. Thanks for the advice Philip and Phel. I appreciate u guys taking the time to get back to me soo quickly.

lol! I am thankful that the lepanthes are doing well. I just focus on growing the more expensive inhabitants and my more prized plants such as N. villosa, jamban, macrophylla etc...etc.. They are the VIPs....and the lepanthes just seem to like what I do in there.

lol Phel! I am waiting for the calo to spread like that. Its one of my fav lepanthes. Although, I wish my teli could spread like that. I just want to divide that plant soo much....just so that I can have more to grow spares and in my other tank and ofcourse for trades. But I just can't dare to take a blade near it.

Heck...the scariest thing was...back in the day when I got this from ecuagenera, it came potted in pure LFS in a small pot. I left it in there for over an year or more.
For a while, it was fine, but afterwards...it stalled...ONE leaf in 6-8 months. I dared it...unpotted...carefully removed every single bit of moss. (heck...I had pics of it somewhere....transluscent green roots with white tips). I was as if working with delicate cells....with a sharp foreceps, carefully taking off eveyr bit of moss. But...that bold move paid off...once i put it on the bark...exposed the crown of roots...it took off...and now makes one or two leaves every 2-3 months.

Teli's come in very tiny from ecua but that just proves how tough they can be if the right person gets ahold of them.I am sure your experiance with highland pitcher's has been key to that. You can divide your teli quite easily but dam that is such a beautiful specimen.
I wish it wasnt such a hassle to send to canada.I will have some ready in a month.

lol! Thanks man. TBH, when I read the teli likes warm intermediate, I was a bit concerned. But the reason it worked out (at the expense of some rare highland neps) was the T5 lighting and the relative height in the tank meant the teli was effectively at intermediate temps all day..i.e., 80F + maybe? But at night..mostly around 60-65, but seen it go as low as 48F even. But it just slows down then. Either way, its a great companion plant once it gets settled.

Lol! Man! I would love to get another teli and would love to try a division. But yeah...issues with trading cross country is a pain.

Would u have a pic of your teli and your setup too?

Interesting. My Lepanthes calodictyon is in a glass bubble with moss in the base. I was thinking I needed to repot because all the roots are forming a mesh over the top of the moss and I thought I should re-bury them. Maybe not It's grown it started with 3 leaves in Feb and now has 7 and at least one is always in flower, so it can't be doing too badly.

See here what I mean by a glass bubble (the pear shaped one). This is not mine, but I bought from the same place and have the same bubble.
