The pitcher plant is an australian species: Cephalotus follicularis.

Yeah. Cephs are actually not that rare. They are pretty common in the CP circles. Expensive and sometimes hard to find, but definitely not as hard as lepanthes.

CP Jungle is another great resource for a host of rare species of carnivorous plants. They specialize in nepenthes though.

I would go with the california carnivores one. Mature pitchers on that plant.

Thanks man. I cut off that leaf and could see the new roots from the keiki. I stuck it in some moss in some nepenthes pots. Fingers crossed. My first shot at lepanthes propogation. I wish my telipogoniflora made some keiki. I want to multiply it.

My thoughts are to not cut the keikis off. There's no need to. You can easily pull them off when they're ready. There should be no resistance whatsoever to their removal by hand when they are ready to be harvested.

Lol! Too late. I cut off the leaf stalk from where the keiki started and stuck it in the moss. There were already 2 roots so I am positive it should take...the mother plant is making another. Lol
