Great blooms, I'm jealous! And nice photos too. No spike on mine, but it's been happily growing since I got it. All of the roots have green growing tips, there's a brand new root growing like a weed, and the new leaf is growing fast.

Sounds like we have an EU gastrochilus project going on! Nenella, where did you get yours?

Hi Camille I got mine from Nardotto. My roots are also growing and have green tips. It's also put out a new leaf since I've had it. It's mounted on bark. And I keep it in same bottle as my Haraellas.
Yes it does look like we have an EU project!

Mine is from Nardotto too. :) I love the quality of their plants. I'm keeping mine under my power CFL with the rest of my mounts. The humidity stays pretty constant between 60-70%. With the heat of the lamp though I have to dunk it every morning, then give a light spraying late afternoon. I hope that within a year I'll have a custom made terrarium that I've been wanting to buy for the last 2 years!

Very nice, Rosie. I have one that just bloomed but I only had two blooms. They are so tiny and delicate. Very cool

Lovely plan5t and flowers, Rosie, and great photos too.

Thanks everyone.

Ron, it's not easy to get good shots with my little automatic camera, but it has a good macro for an automatic and so didn't do too badly. Actually the hardest bit was getting the white levels right as the AWB did a terrible job on this one.
