Do you know where we could get bubbles like those? I was looking for some a while back and never could find them online.

LauraN 06-13-2010 08:11 PM

I got them from Orquides Del Valle at redland, they have someone hand make them.

very inovative way to grow....nice job

I talked with Andrea at Orquideas del Valle a couple of weeks ago and she is really excited about these glass bubbles. Her sense is that it will make Lepanthes far easier for everyone to grow. Sure makes sense to me! Thank you for posting the pics. They really look great. Hmmm.... If space were tight you could fit L. tsubotae, L. telipogoniflora and L. niesseniae in the same bubble and have an orchid show 3" across....

What cute flowers!

That looks a great way to grow them, hope it works for you.

This is probably a silly question but how do you water them when they are in the bubbles without drowning them??? Do you just mist?

are there any drain holes? How do you water these? Interesting, are these kept outside?
