Laeliopsis domigensis
This is this plants first blooms, and by the look of the plant's size....I really didn't expect it to bloom this year. But it shot out these fragile little blooms, anyway. The flowers are only about the size of a dime.

Is this a cross? It's a wonderful little flower.
By the name I thought Laelia and Phalaenopsis, but my brain doesn't want to wrap around that at all....

Way to grow, Jasen. It's a good omen of things to come when they bloom really young. Should be quite a show once it gets bigger.
Brett, the first link looks just like Jasen's plant. The second link is very different - maybe they should check their ID.

Hi Royal
I have grown this species in the past, back in Australia. I dont think from the pic, it is that species.
I dont mean to be discouraging. I would grow this. God knows I have grown many orchids because I liked them and had no accurate name.
The other thing is flower size. The blooms are not dime sized even on a seedling.
I think they are grouped under Broughtonia now too. OSP has B. negrilensis seed still I think by the way... similar species to B. domingoensis http://www.delfinadearaujo.com/on/on...egrilensis.jpg
