Jasen, Other than the flower size yours reminds me a lot of Cattleyopsis cubensis.

I agree, it looks more like cubensis

The colors do have a striking resemblance, but the petals and lip have a completely different shape....plus, the flower size is too small to be cubensis. I wish it was cubensis, it's apparently pretty rare.

True... I wish it was too. I have put some seed in flask of my Laeliopsis negrilensis seed. Hope that grows and and is true to name hahah...

Well, good growing with this lovely orchid anyway.

It's very small, I'd say it covers the bottom 1/5th of the tree fern slab it is mounted to.....and the slab measures about 2"x 5". It really doesn't look like a bloom-size plant. It's smaller than most of my seedlings!
