My L. teliopogoniflora has just put out its 4th spike. I wish they would all bloom at the same time, but it looks like they will be scattered a little over a few weeks. This plant must like me as it is growing like a weed. I only fertilise it once a month with very weak fish emulsion and grow it in live moss. The moss I use is like a really fine spagnum.

Ah yes, the satellite orchid. I love it! Nice job growing it.

I think it is easy enough if you give it temps under 82F (28c) and high humidity, ooh.. seems to really do much better in live moss.
I will post more pics as it continues blooming. A friend of mine has a friend in Belgium that has crossed it to L. Calodictyon. I found out in an email tonight. Darn.. he beat me too it. I want one. Brett |
How very sweet and happy!! I love it!
How hard are these to grow? Probably not something for a beginner with a bare bones set up. Thank you for sharing ETA: I see you kind of answered my question in the post above. :X |
I know this is a kinda old thread, but I just want to say how much I like this little guy. A really cool little flower.
