OK, mine flowered, and here's a pic. What surpised me is that my flowers are so much smaller than the OP's.

Nice! I think the original poster's flowers were about the same size as yours, but appeared larger due to the way the photo was posed. "Pusilla" means "tiny."

Yeah, looking at it you are probably right. All I have is a crappy 'Happy snaps' camera.

Really nice! The mount looks great as well. This would be so cool to have a mount covered in these little orchids! Why don't I have one of these? Hmmm

Basically it is just on a bit of branch. I don't know if you can see it, but the wire goes 'in and out' of the branch so it won't move.
One piece of advice, get some marine yacht varnish, dilute it well with thinnners and soak the mount in it, before letting it dry and giving the mount a couple of coats of the undiluted varnish. Mine are all bare branch and are all slowly rotting.
However when they do go it is no great problem to cut off bits that are in the way and remount onto another branch.

I use braided fishing line, I tie the line on, put the plant where I want it, put moss over the roots and wind the line around so the moss presses the roots against the branch.
It is pretty easy.

I have read that it has very limited life span. It grows for 6-7 years and dies and never shoots another fan. Is this true?
