Aerangis biloba
This plant is on its way to a show in Alabama, where it will compete against the other vandaceous species. I'm pretty sure they can all kick its butt! It is very small!
Morning scent of hyacinth with carrion undertones. Evening fragrance is strongly and gloriously nodosa-ish.
Regards - Nancy

Ahhhhh. Nothing like the smell of flowers mixed with rotting meat in the morning.
Great job blooming it, and good luck at the show. I've had my biloba for two years; healthy as anything, but no blooms.

The flowers are making a lovely presentation. I hope that you do well.

Forget the smell, the presentation is just perfect. I have a citrata, BUUUT I want this one too. Nicely formed flowers in a perfect arrangement. I bet you do well.

Interesting...my aerangis mystacidii smelled quite carrion-hyacinth-ish as well.
It's a gorgeous plant. Mine bloomed once and then seemed to realize that growing leaves and roots is much more enjoyable than growing flowers. Arg!
