Sedirea japonica
This is the second spike of the summer. The first was in May with 3 flowers. Now my Sedirea has 6 flowers, and they smell beautiful. The smell reminds me of lemon cleaner, but in a good way.

Hi Molly,
That is really something!
My little guy hasn't produced any blooms yet. How much light are you providing yours?
Thanks for your post!

Hi,
Thats awesome. Two flowerings in such a short time period. I, as well, am waiting for my plant to flower. Any growing tips that you can offer (light, day/night temperatures, medium etc.) would be great.
Thanks, Paula

Thanks for checking out my orchid! I think it's pretty special. It faces west and gets full sun in the afternoon from about 3-6 pm. Temp is about 70-75 during the day, and 50 at night. The flowers from the last bloom lasted a month and a half. I was very pleased with that.

I should also note that my Sedirea japonica is potted in a small terra cotta pot with charcoal and bark plus a bit of sphagnum moss on the top layer. I water every day or every other day. Humidity is about 70%-80%. Thanks again for your kind comments.
