Hi Everyone

This is for the Lepanthes fans. The Flickr photo strream belongs to my friend in France. He is proficient at hybridising and raising Lepanthes from flask

OH MY GOD! He is also an extremely good photographer.

The plants are amazing, one of the most impressive set of orchid photos and growing I have ever seen.

No exaggeration.

Hi Guys

Yes, a brilliant photographer. He has been kind enough to send me a mini-flask (2 plants I think) if his L. Saltatrix x L. Calodictyon. I am waiting and sweating on it getting through Thai mail.

Bolero, do you know anyone growing Lepanthes in Oz? Any idea what species. I am moving to Melbourne next year - I hope. In the meantime I am trying to collect lepanthes species and flask them before then or get the see to return. I am trying to avoid species that are already available.

Hi Treefrog

I agree he as an interesting method of culture.

If you are in the USA and I am not sure what the rules are sending to Canada, Orquideas Del Valle will send them within the USA. They travel to the US frequently and post CITES registered plants when they arrive. Check their website at Untitled Document

Call/email Andrea if you have questions. She was really helpful to me and has a great selection of Lepanthes. She ranks them in their temperature tolerances too, which was really helpful to me. Also has pics.
