Beautiful flowers and great photograhy, How do you grow this guy? I have recently recieved one that I dont know what to do with it has one long stem with 3 root points on it and some smaller canes with roots all the canes lie horizontally, I am guessing I have to mount it but cant find anything to mount it on so far, do you grow in a pot or mounted? mine is currently in a mushroom tray with no holes, I desperately need to sort something out for it.

thank you, the small pieces I could maybe do that with but the one thats a problem is about 7 inches long with roots either end and roots in the middle so I cant get it into a pot let me try take a photo and I will post it in a thread I really don't know what to do with it How it grew like this is a mystery to me
edited to add explanation and photo
along the middle is one piece with roots each end and middle the others are seperate pieces with roots the top left piece has roots in two places also

I grown mine mounted on a piece of cork bark. Seems to do well that way.

Thank you Ron I will have to try again to get something to mount it on, a walk in the woods might be in order if I cant get a mount bought from anywhere ( been looking with no success), yours really is beautiful and hope someday mine blooms for me if I can get it to survive!

I would think it would do well in a small pot also. I think I'd prefer to see you try that rather than mount it on something inappropriate.

I have found somewhere that does cork bark and I need to order bark chips anyway so when I get paid I will be placing an order with them for sphag moss, cork bark slab and bark chips, Think I have worked out why mine is such an odd shape with the roots everywhere I think it is Keikis on Keikis!

Mine is in a basket hanging up it is one of the small wire type baskets , has a thinned down coco fiber liner the mix is small size bark .A small slat basket would work lined with coco fiber to keep the mix in . It also rambles .. In bud now ..
