Angraecopsis breviloba 'Nance' CBR/AOS

This is a marvellous miniature. The plant is about an inch across and looks like a tiny Phalaenopsis but then it produces these spikes that are about five-six inches long with flowers that are typically Angraecoid. If you look closely you can see the nectar in the flower spurs, though it doesn't take a moth with a twelve inch tongue to reach the nectar - perhaps some micro-miniature moth with a half-inch tongue.

Ron, do you still have this one? I just found this post, and that is a stunning plant. This is a real long shot, but ant ideas on a source?

I do not remember where this came from and though I've wanted another for a long time I've not been able to find another anywhere.

Is yours still alive? This species seems to be very rare. Could it have possibly been a Hoosier plant?

It may very well have been. The only other place I can think of that I might have gotten it from was a place near Detroit airport whose name I cannot remember (Great Lakes Orchids?).
