Ross,
My greenhouse generally has rh from 65-90%. Sometimes I will "dry it out" by shutting off the mist sysyem for a few days, but even then it
never gets below 50% and probably average rh is 75-80%, and is more often high (80% +) than low.
Right now light is 1,5-1,800 fc (Phal. light) and probably gets up to 2,000 plus a bit at times, but I'm not sure if that is really the recommended level.
I don't give it any special care, it just hangs there.
I got it from Botanica Ltd. Thier url is:
Botanica Ltd. - orchids are our specialty
They are very good at discussing plant characteristics, culture, etc., and I have always been very satisfied with thier plant quality, packing methods, etc.
I have four varieties of Chiloschista, and my impression is that they are relatively "easy growers". Mine have been good bloomers (especially the pusilla) and seem to stay hardy and healthy. they are certainly much less demanding than Polyrrhiza lindenii (sp?).
