Fastest growing miniatures? Male
Default Fastest growing miniatures?

I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this post as it's a show and tell forum, but I couldn't find any other forum specific to miniatures.

I was wondering of your miniatures, which would you recommend for a fast grower (relative to other orchids)?

This question is not specific to any particular alliance, but please feel free to move the post if you think another forum is more appropriate.

Thanks,

Depends. The minis I have in my Wardian case are pretty fast growers. It's easier to list the real slow growers. I have lots of Angraecoids (Angraecum and Aerangis) and these appear (to me) to be pretty fast growing in the tank. The ones I have in my grow window can be fast growing at times, but mostly not. Really, that's a broad question for me.

Most of mine are fast growers but they are warm/intermediate and in a humid terrarium so it depends on where you will have yours growing. My Sigmatostalix grmainea has doubled in size since I bought it last year and thats in a 2 1/2 gal. tank under lights.
