A pendent cloud forest Pleurothallid with relatively large single flowers that do not open flat, but leave side slits for the pollinator to enter.
This is one of the few in the genus (that I have grown) that tolerate NY summers albeit with frequent misting.
Mistking
Looking for a misting system? Look no further. Automated misting systems from MistKing are used by multitude of plant enthusiasts and are perfect for Orchids. Systems feature run dry pumps, ZipDrip valve, adjustable black nozzles, per second control! Automatically mist one growing shelf or a greenhouse full of Orchids.
Such a delightful genus! Flowers remind me of little balloons. I have had good success with Zo. alvaroi, which I grow in the greenhouse (so it does want warmth), openings are even smaller, the pollinator must be gnat-sized.
