I think they are Stanhopeas, one of the tags says "tigrina", can't read the other beyond the genus. If that's what they are, they're not mini-orchids, just very young seedlings.(The terms "mini" and "micro" refer to the size of blooming-size plants - their natural mature size) If I guessed right about the genus, they definitely need to be kept gently damp. When they get considerably bigger (they are some years from blooming) they will need to go into baskets, since Stanhopea flowers emerge from the bottom of the plant. But they need to do some considerable growing first.
