Dryadella cristata and Masdevallia empusa
Dryadella cristata - It lives!!! This was in the first big batch of orchids I got from Andy's for my orchidarium in August of 2020. I lost a few and the rest had a very rough go since my conditions were not appropriate (they are for this plant now). This guy's leaves got elongated and scraggly looking, and turned an off pale greenish yellow color. But it survived me! Luckily I've learned a lot and am much better at figuring out which orchids will thrive under the conditions. Very tiny flower. With my naked eyes, It looks like a solid grey-orange flower with green tips. Macro lens changes everything!
Masdevallia empusa - This came from Ecuagenera last July. It actually started blooming a month ago. Pic of whole plant is from 2-18-22. The stalks have had sequential blooms on them. Pic of stalk reblooming is from today. I like the shape and color of them.
