Thanks for noticing. I'm terrible at remembering names in general, and thought if other people looked at my tank, they might be interested to know the names. Now that there are over 65 orchids in there, I'm glad I started labeling them right in the beginning!

One bloom has dropped and this pic from today is what the others have faded to - still very nice. I think it had been blooming just a couple of days when I first made this thread, so I am very happy with how long they lasted.

P.S. - the other "spike" turned out to be an old stem, so hopefully I only have to wait one year more to see these again...

Don't be in a rush to cut old spikes... sometimes they will branch and re-bloom. You may not have to wait a year!
