Default Restrepia lankesteri (syn. Restrepia trichoglossa) first reblooming

Restrepia lankesteri, recently grouped together with Restrepia trichoglossa. Either way, it's just opened these three flowers over the course of the last couple of days. They are beautiful!

It's my first species orchid reblooming (this one arrived in flower in November), so is particularly special for me. It had seemed to be struggling and I guessed it was not moist enough. I repotted from the coarse bark it came in to chopped sphagnum moss and perlite about the end of January. The flower spikes started to come several weeks later and now its first new leaf has emerged too.

It is growing on my East-North-East bathroom window in central Scotland, RH about 50-60% but up to 100% each morning at shower time. Temperature down to 10°C sometimes, normally between 12°C and 21°C.

Oh, it has a fragrance. Not unpleasant, makes me think of wet cut grass!

Thanks. I think I saw it called Freckled Sunrise somewhere - it seems appropriate.
