Ornithocephalus inflexus and Dendrobium aberrans
Default Ornithocephalus inflexus and Dendrobium aberrans

I got the Ornithocephalus inflexus in March. Since it arrived with the old flower spikes, I thought I might have to wait for ages for it to bloom. It started spiking about 2 months ago and has been fully open for about 3 weeks. It is interesting that the old spikes are on the top of the plant and the new ones are below. I didn't remount it and it has clearly been on there awhile, so it wasn't because of accidentally mounting it upside down.

The Dendrobium aberrans came about 6 weeks ago. The bottom two flowers were open already. I figured the other buds would blast since it came all of the way from Ecuagenera, but the top two spikes opened this week It looks pure white to my eye, but the photos show that there's a bit of pink in there somewhere.
