This Angraecum certainly qualifies as "mini" . The flower is about 1 cm (3/8 inch), the leaves maybe 2 cm. The spur is huge compared to the plant and flower - a bit over 7 cm (3 inches). I'll take some better pictures if it opens a bit more, it just opened today. But I wanted to grab some in case it decides to exit... first time blooming.

I grow it outside, so it has experienced the chill of two winters. It grows shady and damp - definitely gets watered every day.

Very nice!! That has always been one of my favorite Angraecums, a bit too high-maintenance for me at the moment though unfortunately.

Very nice foliage, reminds me of a little succulent. Flowers are a bonus.

That is really beautiful. I really like the foliage as well as the flower.

Thanks, everyone. Now that the flower has matured a bit, the spur straightened out making it easier to measure. So we have a 3/8 inch ( 1 cm) flower, with 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) leaves, with a 4 inch (10 cm) spur.

I disagree Roberta. That doesn't qualify as a 'mini' at all. It is a micro. Incredibly nice!

Thanks! This species will be really happy in your "garden"! Popow has excellent plants - I am certain that what you get from him will be healthy (Whenever he can ship... it may still be a long wait. Longer for me, he only ships to the US when he is here for a show, and when will shows happen again??)
