I’m sure I forgot a few, and I gave my Scaphosepalum it’s own thread
, but here are some of my little ones that have bloomed over the last couple of months. Enjoy!
A very young Dendrobium peguanum. Nice, long lasting flowers on this little thing
Dendrobium bellatulum. A terrible grower in my conditions but at least I got a couple of blooms out of it
The forever in bud Haerella retrocalla
Big flush of blooms on my Maxillaria variabilis. Was lucky to have some cold bright weather while the buds developed so it bloomed out nice and dark
An adorable Lepanthopsis astrophora. Love those tiny star shaped flowers
Lone bloom on my Maxillaria sophronitis (or what ever it’s called now...). I do think I see more buds developing, though. Fingers crossed. The color on this flower is unbelievable
Mediocalcar decoratum. Only about a dozen blooms this year but, man, this is a cute one
Sophronitis cernua. Still only getting two flowers per spike on this young plant, hoping for more next year
Isabelia (Neolauchea) virginalis, first time bloomer and it does surprisingly well in my climate. I love the basket weaving on this one
Isabelia (Neolauchea) pulchella. Another one that’s doing surprisingly well in my conditions. Only 9 flowers, none open at the same time (*sigh) but I’m still trying to figure out the best lighting
Promenaea riograndensis. This is a newish one but so far so good. I really like the foliage that all of the Promenaeas have
Not entirely sure what this one is. It was sold to me as a Hexisea bidentata but I have my doubts. Cool growth habit though, it climbs and creeps and grows in all directions so you can get a nice big clump in so time
