Macroclinium manabinum. From a division I made last year (this division now has 2 growths). My late 1990's Kodak point-and-shoot just doesn't do it justice.

Thank you. I appreciate the compliment.

It has been a fun (and easy) miniature to work with.

Now I have visions of L. kettieana circling around my mind again

In regards to my growing conditions ~ growing indoors under artificial lighting ~ on the warm side ~ RH is around 50% minimum. Plants are mounted with some LF sphagnum. I water thoroughly at least once a week with light fertilization once a month. They do best for me under bright (but not real intense) light, and they also seem to appreciate a good drying out between waterings. Flowers are fairly long lived.

Paul:

I have an extra division almost identical to the one in the photo. It has 2 growths and is in flower. If you are interested, I have some free time tomorrow (Tuesday Aug.6th) and can mail it to you then. I will pick up the shipping charge (plant & shipping on me). Chalk it up to a random act of kindness. Shoot me a PM and let me know where you want it sent.

Default This years bloom

Remounted this one in late summer of last year. Started throwing a couple of spikes near the end of April, and recently started flowering again.
