Orchids on my tree & new landscape
I mounted about 20 orchid plants on my front yard tree about a year ago, last weekend we did a yard redo.
We took out sprinklers and added a drip system, also added drippers to tree for mounted orchids, installed landscape clothe, gravel, new plants and synthetic lawn(no mowing, water, fertilizers or weeds, feels good on bear feet, dog has peed and apoooved it.
Orchids on tree have grown well in a year with irregular waterings, they should do much better now with the new drip system and regular water.
Here in California, we are in drought situation, this is my answer to lower water consumption.
in one of the pictures is a Gloriosa lily which I planted about 2 years ago and it has gotten tall enough to meet up with the Tillandsia attached to the Plumeria
Yes we have a varied interest in plants.
Let me know what you think.
