My Display at the MBOS Show
Our annual Mount Baker Orchid Society show was held March 9 at Skagit Valley Garden in Mount Vernon, Washington. This was my display and there are many more pictures both of my display and of other orchids entered in the show at the link below. My display won the AOS Show Trophy and a Silver Certificate from the AOS as well as four trophies for best miniature best specimen plant, best pleurothallid, and "people's choice." The display is in a large purpose-built case with plexiglass sides and front and with a fake lava cliff made of styrofoam on which the plants are displayed.
Note: I wasn't sure where to put this and hope that it is not in the wrong place.

Stunning! I have a large fake rock background made of fibreglass designed for use in a reptile enclosure(it's probably 5ft X 4ft, pretty big) sitting in a corner of the yard and I think you might have inspired me to do something constructive with it

Thanks for looking and I'm glad I inspired you. We'll need to see some pictures, though.

Thanks, Anon. It was a lot of fun putting it in, except for not feeling very well that week.

That is wonderful! How did you manage to have so many blooming just at the right time?

There are usually that many plants blooming this time of the years. The PNG Dendrobiums bloom nearly year around as do some of the Pleurothallids and this one of the main Masdevallia blooming seasons. Thanks for the nice comments.

Envy-inspiring plants, and wonderful display. It looks like a world I'd want to shrink down and live in
