My First Setup
Default My First Setup

Hi all,
The thing is I am done with my little starting set up for my orchids. Since I stay in Bangalore, India (which is not so high in humidity but in night, temperature drops by a considerable amount) I have used a HUGE water tray with a couple of my glass ash-trays (After I left smoking, I was thinking of ways to use my couple of ash-trays, and what can be better than this?!?!?!) and I keep the window open in night with a fan in action over that place, to give the girls a little air ( :P ). I keep the Cattleya in the right most corner since its a west window and the sun sets on the east side of the window providing the Catt with a little direct afternoon sun but only enough light to the Phals. Now what all of you think of this set up? In your opinion, is there any upgrade or change required?

I can't tell how far they are from the window ? Any high light plants should be as close as possible. It looks like the table the plants are on is lower than the window - does the foliage get light?
