I think your set up is great! I really love angraecums, too, and I have a difficult time not buying every new one that I see. Enjoy your collection, thanks for sharing your pictures,

That looks great! I like your humidity monitor. Do you do something special with a humidifier? I have never done a light set up, and have wondered if the lights dry out the plant medium faster?
Thanks,
Ann

WOW thanks guys! I was not expecting this! ive seen this forums set ups and i am always thinking i wish mine looked like that!!!
I really love the Angraecums all 4 are in bud/spike. the Distichum will bloom first its buds are getting fat its has 14. and the Sesquipedale and leonis its spikes are just coming out from between the leaves now. the Little stars is in sheath as well as the Dumbeat, and the bellina is in spike as well
As regards the humidity im actually very surprised!!! its out of the ordinary i have no humidifier running! we have been inside for almost a month now and its been excellent. its been a dream really!!! about an hour after i took the pics it peaked at 72% i will need to run the humidifier in about a month when the heating comes on. i hope it will still be good.
The lights run a touch warm they produce some heat not enough to dry out the medium. But they will burn leaf tips and flower buds if they are touching the bulbs for an extended period.
the monitor i got on Amazon.com if you type in thermometer/hygrometer it will come up. its really the best one i have ever had and i think it was like 14 bucks when all was said and done.
Thank you for all the nice comments!!!! I will be posting when the plants bloom! Im really excited my Shilleriana Comes tomorrow its a specimen with a 17 inch+ leaf span!!!!!!
