Your windowsill looks great. I also grow my orchids in my windowsill. Luckily I have a south facing one. I personally don't think it's crowded, but then again I'm not alone. Also I still have a lot of deflasked seedlings. They also get bigger, and need more space. So much for not crowded.

LOL Yes, we get a lot of sun. I'm diagonally opposite Glasgow, thank fully. No built up cities where I am.

Sounds good. Sun can be very important for a lot of orchids. I mainly have Vandaceous ones. So they certainly need sun. When the weather does allow it I carry them outside one by one. So far for not beeing an orchid addict.

That's more then we can say this year. It's been bad with lots of rain, thunder and lightning.
So i keep moving my orchids around the house to provide enough sun. When people see me like that they start laughing I think.

No, you are certainly not alone! I need to have some huge garden windows installed. All I need is the money.

I think I have some room for plants yet. The Cessna is operating at high speed today in the corner.

Its GLORIOUS!!! I absolutely love that beautiful green glow of the light coming through the leaves. You have a fantastic personal jungle!! Just think of all that fresh oxygen your babies are pumping out! Who needs a spa when you can bask in that!

Does this qualify for crowded ? Every shelf is 22" so you can't even see the ones close to the window !

I would say that it makes it look like I have room for more. The ribbons are a nice accent.
