Was there some national holiday in Scotland which requires imbibing certain beverages involved in this query?
Seriously, if you stagger the length of the hangars on the Phals, first short, then long, then short etc., you will gain twice as much room for hanging them. You will also avoid the leaves rubbing against on another. If I am not making myself clear, I can photograph my setup outdoors.

No libations here with my meds! lmao I did vary the lengths for exposure to full sun but my lot are hardly in any danger from powerful sun here! LOL I am going to stagger them better - I have no idea why I did it the way I did but I'm almost scared to make room for even more hanging money.

With the plants you already have, I seriously doubt you will have more room, just better conditions for the existing ones. They will be more visible and easier to access for watering and fertilizing, etc. You might also consider some staging for the plants on the counter in front of the window.

By the time my young plants grow up any spare room will be eaten up. If I get all the keiki's that are growing to grow there will be even less space!

My phals n phrags are getting their own little niche to go into once I get the shelf build and light installed. If I actually took the time to put things away I would have a lot more space lol.

I love watering time - which is tomorrow - and one by one I go through them all and in less than an hour I'm done. It's my time for solving problems and I'm in a near Zen state.

LOL Thank you both for your enthusiasm! The problem is that when spikes form they get tangled up in the wires that hold the pots up. When I get my GH it will look almost empty so I WILL have to buy more.
