Great setup, should serve you well. It's amazing what we can do when we need too.

Im already finding issues here:

#1 the light is too hot and bright with 8 T5 lamps..reduced to 4 and doing well now after burning
a few small items ..you know when an Otaara turns purple its hurtin?

#2 dont like the wire racks. stuff falls over and makes a mess. need to find some way to secure the plants better. Got hit in the head by a Vanda..ouch.. attack of the orchids

#3 the lowest shelf is too far away to do squat. It just supplemental as the plants stay in the windows all day, but I had hopes of moving stuff in here and leaving it. Seems I need rethink the next one some.

#4 Its too hot even with 4 lamps out..Temps got warm the past few days and I was hittin 90 in the closet..Had put a fan in there already. I need to pull the hot air out not push it around..So a small exhaust unit is needed for the light fixture its way too warm.
So I learn and maybe you too some

and I have another closet handy too now since I threw all my clothes away

Hey RJ, as I've never grown under lights forgive me if this is a silly idea (since I know nothing of the equipment involved) but, how about a dimmer switch for the lights? That way you could vary the intensity...

Ha ha, and Daethen, I think the less said about naked orchid growing the better!
