How could you not gloat, Doc? I'm gloating for you and gasping for air, here. These are just too beautiful for words. I gloat when I start seeing buds on mine!

OUTRAGEOUSLY GORGEOUS!

GORGEOUS!!!!! Just eye popping beautiful !!! I need to buy more Phals and build them a sade house and mount them sideways in their pots. For some reason I end up getting crown rot on some of them. However they still bloom and sometimes it even produces a new leave from the crown. So in other words; congratulations on a job amazingly well done

Like I have said, Rolando, I've had my fair share of crown rot with these guys, so I know just how you feel. I must say, since using RD-20 (Physan20) there has been a BIG difference! Much less incident of rot, the surfactant seems to "clean" the calcium/mineral spots off the leaves and gives them an almost lustery appearance

Doc what a sight to see everyday.... question for you what orchids do you have on the lower shelves?
Trying to plan on what to put on my lower shelves that can take the dripping from above.

Thanks - Sheridan

Sheridan, not sure what you mean 'lower shelf' but I have wire racks around the upper perimeter of the GH that are 12" deep, then the benches are 30" deep and on the floor I keep the Cymbid because they are too big to go anyplace else. I tuck them under the bench because the walkway is only 30" wide... I know that isn't the best location for them but from late October until early May that is their home... I try to keep the bench chids set forward enough so when I water the rack above I don't drip tto much...but things do get wet. I ONLY water in the early AM and if anything stays wet in the crown past about 1PM I dry it off.
