Default Specimen size cattleya

Hello everyone !!! I just found an old picture of when my brother was about 10 years standing next to the orchid plant that we had back home. To this day I still believe that it's C. trianaei.

Well we left our country about 7 years ag but it was still there when we left. That plant is around 40 years old. It was my great aunt's. If I go back to Cuba to visit I'll try to bring a division of it. It really is gorgeous. It would be in bloom around this time and then again in February.

yes, you need a division of that plant, it has family history! it would be nice to know that as it blooms for you here it will be blooming for the rest of the family there.....

I love an orchid with a story!! I guess that's why I have so many heritage catts.

I hope you find a way to get a piece of this orchid to have always and remind you of your family and the early days.
