I think it's time you invest in a snake for your orchids...perhaps it can keep you rat free...

I can't believe Santa is soooo good to me
Saving me babies, and blooms!!

And snakes!?! No thanks!!!
Can't stand them either!! Scare me to death!!

And I agreee!! And so do others!!
The Rats have killed/eated/broken/destroyed about 40-50 of my babies!!!
Mostly my expensive Tolumnia's, and many Species!! Plus many others too.
So you all know what I'm talking about. $$$ down the drain!! Or better yet, in the Rats stomachs, or on the ground destroyed in pieces!!

I know you don't want to hear this (and I don't want to come across as smug) but...

We don't have that problem this time of year here!

So Maybe a load of snow might be the answer? Just curious?

keep runrat outside of the shed . Or place cats in another cage near the orchid house. Cats help you . They consume any amount of rats. Are those rats make holes in your orchid house and live in there . you can tile the floor or cement it and make a permanent protection for your babies.
