well I got the polycarbonate sheeting from work at wholesale prices 1/4" thick. well you will need a good miter box, table router,drill etc.I didnt really write down the plans I just made it, I used a 1/4" groove bit for the channels in the red oak 1"x2" then cut the miter at 45 degree angles at the proper measurements used 2" flat angle brackets for holding it together on the inside and outside corners. each piece was made seperatley. its basically just a framed sheet of plastic screwed to the angle iron frame. The pan was customed made as well as the frame. I dont do welding. if you know someone that does thats a plus. if you are using a angle iron frame i highly suggest buying inter protect 2000 marine paint. its for the bottom of boat hulls. i painted all the interior wood and frame with this stuff. its totally waterproof! good stuff, the only bad side is you have to use a cartridge resporator. because of nerve damage for the fumes,tell ya what we,ll take this step by step let me know what type of materials you can find. then we,ll restart under a new section of the board. how to build a orchidairum from scratch.besides the polycarbonate sheeting I got everything from homedepot. And I dont want to hear I cant do this stuff. I never built anything in my life, just alittle reasearch goes a long way. I live about 4 miles from the peace bridge in western NY North Tonawanda Ny your not that far away
