Please don't laugh at my setup........
Plants both on the top shelf and bottom shelf get plenty of light at all times of the year and the pictures don't really show it that well.
Anyway there is a picture of the plants I just bought in the white tray on the ground before I repot them from Bark into coconut.
If you have any questions let me know........there are two houses I grow in.
Let me know what you think anyway........;-)

Orchid growers are a creative bunch. Talk to 100 growers and you will hear about 100 different set ups, all with the same goal.......provide orchids with the right conditions to be successful. It looks like your plants are very happy - 'nuff said!
Thanks for sharing your pics.

Why would we laugh ? actually I am a little jealous of the space and climate you have. I am limited in space and can only wish I could do that. Thanks for sharing.

I was thinking you might laugh because I have plants growing below other plants. As much as that's "not the thing to do" it's always worked well for me and they get good light down there.
So do the Paphs look the right colour to you?

Looks good to me. Why would we laugh. We orchid growers can find the most ingenious ways to make our hobby work...and to fit more plants in limited spaces. It doesn't matter how things look as long as they work.

It's amazing what our addictions will allow us to do and make workable. The chids look happy happy happy...your goal for this part of the process has been successful. I do not think what one says does not work for them does not necessarily mean it does not work for you. Orchids will always tell us if they are unhappy. Nice working area you have.

I put a second layer of shade cloth on the 'big' house today and am much happier. You are right of course. The plants are growing well and are very healthy so far. I get the occasional problem but it's hard making it perfect for everything.
Thank you for all the compliments.
