OMG! I love it! I wish I lived in Florida sometimes just so that I could grow orchids outside and not have to worry about running out of growing space! I really like what you have done....it looks nice! I would try one but then I would just have to worry about bringing them indoors for the winter and I am sure I my collection would grow while outside and not fit inside...lol.
I hereby award you with the best orchid display, the most organized use of space and the most creative award. I'm sure others will chime in with other awards.
And to your husband, you know how to make your wife a happy camper!

I take it you don't have problems with squirrels and raccoons? I am afraid at least the squirrels would eat on them....not sure if the raccoons would be interested in them if they are hanging. My humidity is on the low side as well. Maybe I'll play with a smaller version of yours next year...the cool weather is coming soon!
We have hundreds of squirrels due to huge trees all around us. But No, "Thank God" they don't like my Chids!! I hear them running on the fence above me, when I'm standing in there working on my chids. But they never knock, and come in? I've never found any damage on my chids either. Thank God!!
As for coons, No, THANK GOD AGAIN!! As I have a Koi Pond about 5' from my Chid Hotel!! He'd have to be a great swimmer and diver, as she's deep!! But they might be brave enough too put on their scuba tank for an awesome meal!!
