Hey Yall
Found a crate that housed a huge lighting fixture near a dumpster next to where I work. It is about 5' x 4.5' x 6.5'. I had some 6' rolled galvanized fencing left over from a dog pen I built. Ordered some 50% shade cloth from FarmTek.com (I highly recommend those guys--Cheap), 6' wide for only $1.25 a foot. Cut the shade cloth, used weather proof tape to seal the edges and then zip tide the edges as well. Used stainless steel staples to attach the fencing and the shade cloth. Haven't taken pictures of it in a few weeks so these pictures show a few phals I hung after I was done. There are some vandas, oncidiums, phals, and my dendrobium nobile out there right now and everyone is really really happy. I have drawn out plans for a misting system using PVC that runs from a nearby spigot, but by the time I can get that done it will be time to bring them in. Just thought I would share.

I want one too. That was a great idea you had. You are obviously a devoted orchid freak cos you could immediately saw a future home for your orchids as soon as you laid eyes on that crate. I couldn't imagine coming across good stuff like that in Brisbane Australia. Everyone wants pics when you have it full.
