I just took another pic of my 'Shade Hotel' with the blinds down for my babies in the this blistering afternoon falling sun!!

I put them down about 4:00 every day, as the sun BLAST them about that time on...

And these blinds truly do the job!! Roll up and Down soooo very easy! Someone told me that I should've used shade cloth in front instead of my $12 blinds. I don't think so, as shade cloth won't roll up like these, and won't keep out strong winds/rain if needed. These will even help with cold too!

Hi Jackie,
This isn't a nice looking as yours as I used the back side of an existing lattice (facing North East). The 'front' side is for my Clematis (faces South West).
Anyway, the orchids didn't seem to mind and did very well. The lattice provided filtered sun light.
