I grow in a fridge that used to be in a gas station in 2014. My parents had a HVAC repairman refurbishing, and it was an awesome surprise!
I control it with a Neptune Systems Apex aquarium controller that i already had.
Night temperatures are 50-55 F. It's set at 50 to power off, temperature rises to 55 then it cools to 50 again. Depending on the thermometer and where I place the temp probe, it could get down to 46!
My day temperatures are in the high 70's to low 80's.
My photoperiod is 14 hours, and I would call it high light. My light isan ADA solar RGB LED light, with some cheap $40 purple growlight added. Not sure if they contribute to the PAR much, butiliked them for the cosmetic effect.
Lots of air movement. I have 2 80mm fans blowing above and across the orchids and one 120 mm fan blowing up through the orchids from underneath, angled at a degree so that it hits the glass door and travels up in an updraft.
I use a co2 controller with a photocell and co2 is set to 1,500 ppm during the day.
Not sure why it up,loaded my picture sideways
