Default Commercial Coca-Cola Cold Chamber

I grow in a fridge that used to be in a gas station in 2014. My parents had a HVAC repairman refurbishing, and it was an awesome surprise!

I control it with a Neptune Systems Apex aquarium controller that i already had.

Night temperatures are 50-55 F. It's set at 50 to power off, temperature rises to 55 then it cools to 50 again. Depending on the thermometer and where I place the temp probe, it could get down to 46!

My day temperatures are in the high 70's to low 80's.
My photoperiod is 14 hours, and I would call it high light. My light isan ADA solar RGB LED light, with some cheap $40 purple growlight added. Not sure if they contribute to the PAR much, butiliked them for the cosmetic effect.

Lots of air movement. I have 2 80mm fans blowing above and across the orchids and one 120 mm fan blowing up through the orchids from underneath, angled at a degree so that it hits the glass door and travels up in an updraft.

I use a co2 controller with a photocell and co2 is set to 1,500 ppm during the day.

Not sure why it up,loaded my picture sideways

orchidboard has an issue with uploading photos from smart phones. I'm not sure about real cameras. The trick is to dit the picture on your computer before uploading - somehow that changes the format of the picture to be compatible with orchidboard. For example, you could rotate your pictures 4 times to bring them back to the original or cut out part of it and paste it back in or use an photo editor to change the dimensions of the picture. Whatever you do, you just have to do something to the picture on your laptop. Weird, but it works.

This is a very neat setup! What orchids have you got growing in there? Mostly cool-to-intermediate growers?

Haha that's a big compliment!

I have no idea what Im doing with pleurothallids. My orchid experience is limited to big-box store plants.

I bought:

Masdevallia:
lynchniphora
Ventricosa
Decumana
Floribunda
Venatori

Lepanthes:
Calydicton
Tentaculata
Escobariana
Telipogon
Gargoyla

Dendrobium cuthbersonia
Stelis morganii
Platystele ordctoglossa

My plants are all in shock. I mounted them on ecoweb with lots of sphagnum and i was overwatering them so I had some rot, so I ripped them off the ecoweb (I glued them) and cut off the dead and dying roots, re-glued them with no moss at all (my humidity is set to 90%, someone told me I didnt even need moss) but my air movement dried them out, so I glued a little little sphagnum back on but only a tiny bit.

Some are basically rootless "stumps" with leaves. I am having a hard time figuring out watering.

I think all of the will make it except for one masdevallia. In general they dont look too bad as dar as leaves go, and I see new shoots and roots growing. I am watering with kelpmax daily at a stronger concentration than reccomended on the bottle.

I do know how to grow plants, just not mounted orchids lol
