the tree ALWAYS wins unless man gets involved

i was surprised....mostly japanese beetles. there was a thing that i think was a bone, so maybe a small mouse or rat was also on the menu. but lots of beetle shell and some large bug legs.

mmmm hahaha

Mango, they are both mango. Girl mango and boy mango. I think this is the boy and that he is an Eastern form Southern Screech owl. His mate, girl mango, is a western form southern screech owl. Shrug?

Impossibly cute

i had the miraculous pleasure of petting her!

her house was blown down in recent high winds and i went out to fix it and she was perched on my daughter soccer goal and looking pissed.

I reset the house and then i was telling her i fixed it and she let me walk right up and pet her belly a few times before she took off. back in the house the next day!
