I really like nr 4 cymbidium, I'd add that if I found it but that tutankamun, wow, very impressive.

I saw the name change, saw like 10 people liked the change, not that I am complaining as all the flowers deserve it but it does make you feel a little underappreciated when you help out, get 0 likes and someone announces their thread title is changing, 10 likes.
Again the post deserves it, it's just that I wish there was more interest to figure them out more. I know outdoors they practically grow by themselves and just need repotting taking care of. I'm also jealous it is 10 times harder trying to replicate nature and getting it wrong results in far more severe consequences than growing under the sun. The sun is like a healing blanket in itself, indoor lighting is good but it will never (or isn't yet) as good as the sun is.

Again no criticism at all, just an obseration that announcing such a trivial change is what gets you social media likes - I just fished watching "marry me" might be the reason I am thinking of likes.

J Lo's outfit in that. Now that is also wow

I agree, about the plant part, I am not sure I understand the social media portion but I am not really savvy in that world.

As for growing, I basically have to tame nature, shade, water, protection from water, balance the bugs and oversee mistakes that are either caused by me or wind. I have a few areas I have made in order to create a micro climate but mostly I am just the guy who is standing closest to the plants.

My only skill is my address

Where is anyone seeing "likes" for the name change of the thread? I don't get it.

DC... My trick or treat is blooming right now, and colors are totally different this year. I'll snag a picture.

I think the bottom line here is that some people give great import to what other people think of them.

and others just don't care or who they upset along the way. We know your mantra dusty

I do care more what others think, it is called caring, possibly too much but that is also a very likely reason why we don't get on dusty, you are the complete opposite of my personality it seems.

lets just keep it about the plants, folks....

there is too much stress, anxiety and division in the world right now.

deep breath, count some blessings, pet a dog, maybe hug a kid.

I can't beleave a couple of those begonias. Haven't grown them in eons, since my grandma was turning me on to begonias as a teen. What is that last weird-ish one? I don't recognize it.
