Yeah, it hurts to lose a beauty like that. But I think chattaladae is almost as intense. And it's a blooming fool. Flush blooms several times during the year, along with the occasional flower at other times.

WW- 10 is a female cat flower and quite large- i cant wait to see some males!
25 is a ylang ylang- base of chanel no 5 and possibly the most beautifully scented tree-

I wonder if I will get a Catasetum female flower this year. Really want to! And now I remember you talking about the ylang ylang tree. I need to read up on those… way 😎

I’ll order # 14 from the menu  DC, that’s quite a collection of beautiful blooms you have there. Also is nice seeing the other exotics. Ahh, to live in zone 10….I was in south Florida just 6 weeks ago and already want to return.

Nice flowers
I just planted two Ylang Ylang trees upwind of my house a month ago. They are already starting to grow. Hopefully it won't be long before they start blooming.
If I ever move back to the States it might just have to be to South Florida. I'd love to be closer to my family in Michigan but the cold weather is less fun every year and I'd miss the tropical plants.
