Here is my setup for my orchids (other random plants as well) on a south facing covered patio and north facing covered front walkway.

Nice wall mounts. I was going to ask you how you keep them watered, but then I looked at your location and realized you have that Florida humidity!

Thanks fishmom. Yes, plenty of humidity and air flow but my mounted orchids actually dry out every other day (now with summer its EVERY day). So I water about every day with a 2 Gal. EZ-Pump Sprayer (used for weeds/pesticides).

What lovely porches to sit on. We actually had snow here in Massachusetts yesterday. About 5". But it is almost all melted. I can't wait till it is time to put my orchids out but at this rate it will be at least another 2 months.

Thank you very much! It has had much added since that post and attached is a more recent update. Yes, I have two pooches that are rescue dogs. The black one in the photo is a charm but the other one is a little terd (we love him though).

Yes, I like to take a beer out there along with my newborn (got to start her early right?) and tend to my orchids or just unwind sometimes after work.

The spikes you see in the photo on the coffee table are probably the spent butterwort spikes. However, there is a sundew spike also there but it’s not very visible in the photo. I’ve been meaning to get out there more than to just water and take some photos of blooms. I have several phals in bloom now and an encyclia cordigera with theee spikes about to bloom. Not to mention my mini bog garden is coming more to life now.

I finally got around to stealing this mount basket idea.
I couldn’t find this thread so I went from memory and mine are a tad “tighter” thank your. I am hoping to encourage mounting. So I moved two big stans and my two coelogynes...can’t wait to see how they work
