I voted for the Sedirea because I like the flower, and I already own Masdevallia infracta,Neofinetia falcata, and Haraella retrocalla aka odorata, if one of those three get picked I will probably not participate as it would not be fair.

Hey everybody, I had to vote Sedirea japonica (I have been hunting it down for ages) . But I have an important question for those who govern this election?!?!?! I have found an interesting little guy... Sedirea japonica var. Minmaru .... I was wondering if Sedirea wins could this be purchased personally, it's basically the same except for the shape of the plant??? It's so small and plush, it's like a puppy

I found it at J and L Orchids, but it's quite expensive ($35!!! ) but its TOO CUTE , I thought this would be an interesting variation for those who may already have one(or two, Ross ) so if your willing to pay the price, you must look...

uh oh it's a tie between sedirea and harvey - now I wish I had waited before casting my vote since tetragonum isn't doing anything at all I have two sedireas already, so I hope harvey wins, cause I'm itching for an excuse to buy a new plant...then again but maybe this is a good thing for the budget (actually..who am I kidding...I'm going to end up getting like 10 of the suggested project plants anway )

Just a Sedirea note...Orchids of Los Osos has them on e-bay right now in their "buy it now" section at $7.50 for NBS/BS...this is bare root of course... not to sway y'all or anything

Tim, thanks a lot! Now I am questioning my vote....that I haven't placed yet! I was originally for Harvy...but now I am looking at some of the different forms of the Sedirea thanks to you! I love the frilly yellow flowers on the Den, but I have so many NOID dens I don't know if I want to add another one to my collection, not that I wouldn't...lol.....Oh decisions decisions....

Sue, do we all have to purchase the normal version of this for the project plant or could we by one of the variations if we wanted too?
