Is it a sign of addiction when you relate the price of everything, to how many orchids you could buy instead ??
My family is so tired of hearing that I could buy a really nice orchid for the price of ...whatever it is that they are wanting to spend money on at the time!

The folks at Oak Hill are fantastic!!!

Here's our response from Liese:

Susanne,
Yes,
we'd be happy to offer the 25% discount on the sederia, the small ones would then cost $11.25 and the large, blooming size ones would be $15... shipping charges apply as per our website. Our web guy offered to set up a special page just for your group to order, but I'm not sure how that would work, otherwise, if your group would just mention in the message section of the order form that they are part of the orchid project, we will apply the discount before we run their credit card. They are also welcome to call in their order anytime!!
Hope this all helps!

Sue - how many people need to be in the group? for the discount at Oak Hill ? I want to order from them but I am waiting to hear about the NWO discount that Gwen is looking into ...
I'd love to spend oodles of money on orchids but this year I have 2 weddings to attend (both out of state) and my folk's 60th wedding anniversary party ..

Sue, I am going to ditto Dorothy's comment. Basically, I will be going with the cheaper option. Thanks for contacting Oak Hill for us!

There's no minimum...if that's where you (anybody) choose to buy from, just let them know that you are part of the Orchidboard project.

D, I'm also waiting to see what the NWO discount might be. I still want to get the Neo from there so the discount versus two shipping charges comes into question.

WOW I do this ALL the time....I calculate my bus/transit fare and food expenditures subconciously in my head, and I often walk, bike, or buy groceries instead of eating out and I giggle to myself, thinking "YES that's enough for one more orchid" of course, then I end up buying TWO ..or even three

Hmm maybe instead of posting this publicly here, all the relevant members can be PMed....this could make for an ugly situation, with all the spying going around I'm worried oakhill will suddenly have 100 people saying they're "part of the project" just to leech of the deal! (not trying to be selfish or anything; I'm just holding the nursery's best interests at heart, after they've been so wonderful and helpful!)
