Gwen, if the Sedirea wins, we should get the Neo. project rolling right away....so we can order both at the same time, since many places that carry the Sedirea carry the Neo as well! Oh I can't wait!
p.s.....I just received a Brassavola David Sander today that I haven't had the heart to tell my hubby about yet...lol....he found out there is a local orchid show this weekend and he said he was going to take my purse away from me

Thanks for the info Gwen...keep me posted as to whether you decide to do the project or not...I have a few neos/neo crosses in the GH...but there's always room for one(or two or three) more...

Sue? Marty? You're my lead on this. . .Is this something that we can do together as an OB team? Sue, Dorthy, Shakkai & I can work together on point for the project. . .if all are agreeable.
I guess we'd have to find out how many people were actually interested and then let Dr. Lehr at NWO know. . .so he can work with us on plants and discounts. . .etc.

I agree, Becca. This one will have to be quick. I think its a pretty safe bet that Neofinetia isn't going to win here, so we don't have to hold off. First step, a list of people who want to participate....
PS. My husband also says things like that....
I wonder why???

I just went to put together a list of those who had expressed interest in a Neo, but the posts are gone? I didn't want to post anything until the voting for this was done and dusted... but I thought I could get us a head start by putting together a list of people.
EDIT: Never mind, I found it. Its in this thread: http://www.orchidboard.com/community...orchids-3.html
I'll keep a list of people that said they were interested, and once this main project is settled and we have a winner, we can get started. It will have to be a 'Quickie Project', so I suggest the following: I'll post the list of people tomorrow morning after this poll closes - we have 11 people already. Everyone then lists 3 plants from the New World Orchid list that they'd like, we'll whittle the list down to a top 10 and have a poll. We might need to go with the top 3 plants and work with Dr. Lehr to ensure we're picking something that he has enough plants of - Gwen that's where you come in, as you're already in touch with him. If we can get our suggestions and the vote done quickly, we can order the Neo at the same time as the Sedirea (if it wins).
